Bethany is the daughter of Peter and Cindy Zull, and she was raised a Missionary Kid (M.K.). She knew from a young age that God would use the talents and passions He had instilled in her for the mission field. With this goal in mind, she attended Ball State University, majoring in Dietetics. She wanted to use her nutrition education to help those who didn't know Jesus and have enough to eat. She worked as a nutritionist in Muncie, Indiana, for two years. After two years working in the nutrition field, God called her to Ukraine for the summer of 2008 to teach breastfeeding to mommies in crisis pregnancy centers.
She returned home to live with her parents and pray about what was next. God allowed her to volunteer teaching English to international students in the Purdue community. She was hooked. One of the best things about reaching out to internationals was that she has been able to use her nutrition to help the many pregnant wives of students she meets.
She loves interacting with the students and making a difference in their lives. She loves the spiritual discussions that are bound to happen every time. She joined International Students, Inc. (ISI) in March 2009. She loves how strategic international student ministry is. These people are their nation’s best and brightest. If they go home with Jesus to share with their families and friends, can you imagine what might happen to our lost world? She is enjoying telling everyone how they can impact the world for Christ.
