WMBI is owned and operated by the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, Illinois. WMBI first went on the air on July 28, 1926, making WMBI the oldest religious station in Chicago and the most listened to religious station in the country. The Moody Broadcasting Network consists of 30+ owned and operated stations and over 300 affiliate stations across the United States.

WMBI-FM offers the best in quality teaching programs and the latest Christian music throughout the day.  WMBI-AM broadcasts a mix of English and Spanish programming.  WMBI-FM is also broadcast live via the internet: www.wmbi.org.

There are many popular programs daily.  The Morning Program gets many people started for the day from 5:00 – 9:00 a.m.  Midday Connection from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. is also very informational with varied guests and subjects daily.  Prime Time Chicago begins at 2:00 p.m., and of course a favorite to many is Music Thru the Night with Mike Kellogg from 12 midnight – 5:00 a.m.  There is a program for every need.
